The Sonic Wargame consisted of 4 international teams of electronic musicians seated in the 4 corners of a large room. Xavier refereed the game in the middle of the floor.
Each team could vote for each other to be heard by way of a simple switching arrangement. When 2 bulbs lit for the team they were audible.
Each team could sample each other at any time. A wild card could be played enabling a team to play a 4-minute solo.
